Punk Rock

So, I'm trying to think of "punk" bands that my students might like. I have a student that's favorite band is Mest and also really likes Good Charlotte. Seeing as how when I listened to a lot of actual punk and industrial that it was much more hard core, I can't think of any other bands he might like. Likewise, I have another student that likes heavy metal and more real punk. He likes Metallica, Anthrax, Sex Pistols, and other stuff I can't remember. Any suggestions? I've thought of Ministry and Primus. But, I don't know what's all that "cool" right now and thought you might know.
